Productivity is necessary for survival: [Downloads below]

  • Without productivity, we wouldn't have developed our society as much as it has today. It's something humans have always done since their existence. The only thing that has changed throughout the years is how we measure it.

  • Every human has different methods of expression and levels of productivity. And that is why, a standardized model of measurement might not always be accurate.

  • I've talked about it in my book, and I'll say it again, every person thinks differently even if their goals are similar. And for that reason, productivity will always vary depending on the steps used to reach a goal, not the goal itself, as well as by the metrics used to measure productivity.

  • As humans, most of us long to be productive in things we like. It could be being good at video games, dreaming of becoming a singer, an actor, a football player, or even just having an average desk job with a good enough pay. The idea of achievements in life is a common childhood aspiration globally, regardless of language, culture, or race.

  • However, if the methods of reaching those goals do not align with the logical part of your brain, we eventually lose interest or choose something else. In the same way, as adults, whatever kind of work we do, a lot of things have to go right. The right kind of work environment, decent co-workers, a decent boss, good pay, being valued, etc..

  • All these things directly affect how productive we can be. A person who is either emotionally or logically dissatisfied, will never reach their full potential.
